About us
I’m Natalie, a dedicated breeder of Lagotto Romagnolo with a deep commitment to the health, temperament, and preservation of this remarkable Italian water dog. My work combines careful breeding practices, hands-on puppy socialization, and ongoing education to produce dogs that are not only true to breed type but also excellent companions and working partners.
Background and philosophy
Raised around dogs and drawn to the Lagotto for its intelligence, affectionate nature, and truffle-hunting heritage, I approach breeding with patience and respect for the breed’s history.
My philosophy centers on health, temperament, and functionality. I prioritize genetic testing, soundness, and temperament screening to reduce hereditary issues and ensure stable, trainable dogs.
I believe in responsible, ethical breeding: matching pairs to complement strengths and correct weaknesses, providing excellent prenatal and neonatal care, and placing puppies in homes that fit their needs.
Health and testing
I follow recommended health screening protocols for the breed, including (but not limited to) hip and elbow evaluations, eye exams by certified specialists, and genetic testing for relevant conditions.
All breeding adults are selected for sound health, clear test results, and robust temperaments. I maintain detailed health records and share these openly with prospective owners.
Puppy care and socialization
Puppies are raised in my home where they receive constant human interaction, early neurological stimulation, and gradual exposure to household sights and sounds.
Socialization is systematic and ongoing: exposure to different people, children, dogs, surfaces, and environments to build confident, adaptable dogs.
I begin basic handling, crate introduction, and early housetraining. I provide starter guidance for continued training and enrichment.
Training and enrichment
Lagotti are bright, energetic, and motivated by scent work. I encourage owners to pursue activities like truffle hunting, obedience, agility, and scent sports to keep dogs mentally and physically satisfied.
I provide guidance and resources for positive, reward-based training methods that strengthen the dog–owner bond.
Placement and support
I carefully screen prospective homes to ensure each puppy’s lifestyle, activity level, and family situation are well-matched to the breed’s needs.
Every puppy goes home with a health record, genetic test documentation, vaccination and deworming history, a starter food plan, and ongoing breeder support.
I’m available for lifetime support and will always take back a dog if a home situation changes.
Values and community
I stay current with breed the Lagotto Romagnolo Club recommendations, veterinary advances, and ethical breeding standards.
I’m committed to educating new owners about the Lagotto’s unique needs and advocating for responsible ownership.
I work to preserve the breed’s working instincts and temperament while maintaining health and longevity.
If you’re considering a Lagotto Romagnolo, I’m happy to discuss your lifestyle, answer questions about the breed, and help determine whether one of my puppies—or potentially an adult placement—would be a good fit for your family.

My real Treasures (Tesoro)
My family is my reason and my greatest treasure. Their laughter, small comforts, and stubborn love keep me moving forward. I picture their faces and remember that every effort is part of building a safer, brighter future. Strength is steady and simple: showing up each day, doing the necessary work to give them security, and staying calm through life’s storms. Working hard means taking responsibility, offering love, and carrying a quiet, steady pride. I keep going, determined and hopeful.
